Bogács Spa
The spa is situated 56 kilometres from Dédestapolcsány. The sulphurous fizzy thermal water is highly beneficial to rheumatic diseases and musculoskeletal disorders, just as the inhalation of water vapour rich in hydrogen carbonate, while bathing is to respiratory diseases. The water is also extremely suitable to be taken as a drinking cure, especially helpful for chronic gastritis, constipation, bile and liver diseases. The alkaline water dissolves plaque and heals the inflammations of the gum. It can be used for treating several forms of skin diseases as it loosens the skin up.

Egerszalók Spa
Situated only 48 kilometres from Dédestapolcsány, it has been three years now since the Egerszalók Spa and Wellness Centre opened its gates to visitors. The spa building is located in a unique natural environment unmatched all over Europe at the foot of the special terraced limestone formation created by the water flowing down on the side of the hill. The spa’s medical and wellness services are of high quality. The 17 indoor and open-air pools’ water surface totals at approximately 2,000m². The pools, the slide and the paddling pools live up to all kinds of expectations.

Kazincbarcika Open-Air Swimming Pool
The Kazincbarcika Open-Air Swimming Pool is considered to be one of the most beautiful pools in the area and is situated only 20 kilometres from Dédestapolcsány. In the park around the four different pools huge trees grow giving shade while letting the sun through as well. Entertainment is made complete by the giant slide, playground and sports tracks. Getting hungry will not mean having to go home, either. Summer events and live music programmes in the evenings attract a lot of people there.

Miskolctapolca Cave Bath and Spa
Miskolctapolca is situated about 40 kilometres from Dédestapolcsány. The settlement was officially registered as a holiday resort in the early 20th century. The cave bath and the spa buildings have been constructed over the hot fountain of the cave and the earlier lake pool. The 31.5 degrees Celsius hot fountain is unique all over Europe as water with such a high temperature is nowhere else to be found in a karst. The spa offers a range of medical services as well as opportunities for having fun. Paddling pools have been established for children. Pools in the different grottos offer an exclusive experience to bathers.
